COLUMBUS, OH – August 12, 2025 – It’s not what you think. “Naked Magic” is a stripped-down, no-holds-barred performance from two-time World Magic Award winner and “Greatest Living Escape Artist” Michael Griffin, hitting the stage Friday, August 30 at 7:30 PM at Up Front Performance Space in Columbus. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
Forget the smoke and mirrors. This is raw, real magic—performed live, without edits, safety nets, or planted “audience members.” Griffin will attempt impossible escapes under extreme pressure, with every moment happening in full view.
“If it’s fake, I’m dead,” Griffin says. “There’s no second take. No trap door. Just me, the clock, and the truth.”
Audience members can expect laughter, shock, and the occasional instinct to look away as Griffin pushes himself to the edge in acts that have made him the only person to survive a public hanging, escape police restraints, and walk away from scenarios that should have ended differently.
